All private univerisities are not Harvard or Yale. Public university is always a better choice since not only are they well recognised, they are also much cheaper than private universities. Also public universities are not at all dirty. University of North Alabama is an example of a good public university.

I do agree with your argument the fact that there are more opportunities available in terms of larger admission pool in the public university for higher education.

To my opinion public university is best for higher education.Because cost may be the matter.But in public university everybody can admitted if they have the qualification….. money is not a matter here…..

I don’t think that that is what he was saying. You might want to consider reading the article again.
I have to say, private universities whether widely-known or not, are much better than public universities. In my experience, public institutions do not keep their grounds up very well( they are always dirty and smelly), and they don’t maintain organization. My university is a private school, I really like it, and everything is always clean and maintained well, organized and friendly. Private schools (if money is an issue) are defintely a waaaaaaay better choice. I was told that you are more likely to get a better job if you go to a private university, than a dirty, cheap public college. But if you cannot pay for a good education at a private school, you could always go to a community college where you might trip over a few homeless people.
